Its danderous to charging your smartphone over USB

A smartphone drain it’s battery quickly they by always making us run into a situation where our phone’s battery very low and don’t have a charger at hand we really need to stay connected.
Looking for power source becomes the next line of action. We even consider any USB port ok. But that be safe? Hell no. That’s extremely dangerous: Over the USB connection someone can steal your files, infect your smartphone with something nasty or even brick it.

Avoid electrocution

Absolutely all power source are  not equal but Before we get to the problem of thieves, there have been news around the internet where chargers have turned phones into explosives and mobile phone electrocuting people while they sleep, these are problems of bad power source and chargers

Your files are exposed

Secondly, USB ports were also designed to transfer data. So whenever your phone is connected to a USB port, Android phones who’s version is 4.0 and above connect to MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode by default, exposing all of the device’s files. So when you connect your USB in a public dock it can be connected to a hacker’s computer. Thereby making you unprotected. If you also ask a friend if you can plug your mobile phone to his laptop, you are really at risk because he has automatic access to your files. Not that when your phone is plugged into a computer the person can be able to detect the name, model, a serial number

Uninterrupted access to your smartphone

You may say there is nothing much in my phone’s memory I discovered that with a legacy system of commands called AT-commands. The AT commands were developed some decades ago to enable the modem and PC communications. Later, it was developed to include the GSM standard, and to this day, it is supported on all smartphones.
With AT commands, an attacker can get your phone number and download the contacts which are stored in your SIM card. Then, can also call any number at your expense. Depending on your vendor, this mode can also grant them access to install and open any type of application including malicious ones.
All mentioned above are possible even if your phone is locked. Don’t make use of your phone while charging it. A word is enough for the wise.
